Valley Kids! wants to partner with parents, starting in the nursery and preschool, as your little ones discover God’s Word and the basic truths that God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my forever friend.  As elementary kids, they will discover that “Every day I have a part to play in God’s Big Adventure Story! Because we believe kids don’t need to wait until they “grow-up” to do big things for God, our staff and ministry partners are here to support you in the incredible journey of raising kids who live like Jesus.

Nursery: Sundays at 9:15 & 11AM

Birth up to age 3

We are so glad you are choosing to trust us with the care of your children. We can’t wait to meet them! We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways.

We partner with you for the spiritual growth of your child. It is our hope that your child will learn:

God MADE me.
God LOVES me.
Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.

Toddler – 3YOs will meet each week in their classrooms and learn about God in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways through media and hands-on activities.

Memory Verse:  Each month nursery and preschoolers have a monthly verse with motions. Be sure to pick up a card on the nursery counter, so that you can practice the verse and motions at home too!

Preschool: Sundays at 9:15 & 11AM

Ages 3, 4, and 5 (until the child goes to Kindergarten)

We want every preschool child to know and understand three basic truths:
God loves me,
God made me, and
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Each month a new Bible theme is introduced that centers around one of those three basic truths.  Children learn about God through Bible stories, hands-on activities, and worship.  In addition, they also have times of free play and a snack. Children begin their morning in participating in a large group time that includes interactive worship and the Bible Story.  Following the large group time, preschoolers engage in activities designed to help them understand and remember the Bible story, the memory verse, and the bottom line for the day.  They also begin to process how they can apply the lesson to their own lives.

AdventureLand: Sundays at 9:15 & 11AM

Kindergarten – Grade 5

Adventureland starts with a large group experience that includes games, skits, videos, music, and creative storytelling from God’s Word. Then, kids in the same grades break out into KidLife Groups, where they process what God is teaching them and how they’ll respond through hands-on activities and conversation.

Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45 PM: Kindergarten - 5th Grade (Piqua Campus)

Aligning with the Adult Life Group schedule, elementary kids dig deeper into Sunday's lesson with a special emphasis on the month’s Bible verse.  Adventureland Wednesdays will return in the fall.  Parents must walk their child into the building, then check-in and pick them up from their group rooms with a matching security tag.

Your child’s safety is important to us!

  • You’ll know our team by their lanyards! This means they have been through orientation and background checks.

  • Adults may check-in their kids 15 minutes prior to service times.

  • From your child’s first visit, we will collect some basic information to get to know your child and enter them into our system. From then on, you can self-check at the registration counter.

  • Both you and your child will receive a security sticker with a matching code, valid only for that day. We ask that you make this sticker visible when picking up your child so we know each child has been safely dismissed.

  • If you are needed during the service, that security code will appear on the LED screen.

  • In the unlikely occurrence, the building needs to be evacuated, all parents are asked to meet the KidMin team in the grassy area beside the Playland where you may pick-up your child after checking them out with a leader.

  • We ask that sick kiddos not attend in order to ensure the health of the other children and staff.
