Seek Him First

Together, we’re going to start the new year pursuing God through prayer and fasting, asking Him to reveal His will and power in 2023 for our church and our own lives. This will set the course for the rest of the year because we are releasing the principle found in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
We’re asking everyone to do a partial fast called the Daniel Fast, which eliminates rich and sweet foods. As we fast, we are asking everyone to commit to a set-aside time for Bible Reading and prayer during this week. Begin planning to join us for this special time by determining how you plan to seek God that week and planning your meals for the fast.
